A Monitrice is a birth specialist who provides both emotional support and skilled at preforming various clinical assessments during pregnancy and the birthing process.
The word “Monitrice” is French for monitor; coach; instructor.
A Monitrice is a trained Midwife/Labor and delivery Registered Nurse who provides continuous
one-on-one expertise care to women throughout their pregnancy, early labor, labor and post-partum period.

Monitrice services are a blend of Midwifery/Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse and doula services. Monitrice services include the clinical assessments and extensive training and experience provided by a Licensed Midwife/Labor and delivery Registered
Nurse and the supportive care of a Doula,

Every pregnant woman can benefit from the experienced support of a Monitrice during pregnancy, labor, birth and the postpartum period.

I will happily assist with your home birth if that is your choice of birth, however I will not deliver your baby or replace your OB/Midwife provider.
I’m a licensed Registered Nurse Midwife from Israel and have delivered over a thousand babies. I have so much experience and knowledge to share with you!
In the US I’m a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of California and have years of experience working in the Labor and Delivery department both in Israel and in California.

I service the Los Angeles area, there is a travel fee or mileage charge that applies for clients living further than 25 miles from my home.

Currently all services are private/out of pocket
